that you can sign-on with the NSA at these rounds which means you could
enter the NSA sprinting championship at the same time if you like.
The rules for the championship are simple, it's anyone versus anyone, geared scooters versus automatics!
In order to make things fair and square though there will be two separate classes:
Street Class - any road legal (road going) scooter, any engine capacity (geared or automatic) entered into this class must satisfy the following criteria:
1. Bike is taxed and MOT'd for road use (not off road use).
2. Has a standard frame.
3. Has a working brake light and horn.
4. Has a speedo.
5. Has a stock fuel tank.
6. Runs on roadside pump petrol only.
7. Has a battery fitted.
8. Has shock absorbers fitted (no straight bars or rods).
Bikes that do not fit the above criteria will be entered into the Sprint Class.
Sprint Class - any engine capacity non-road legal (geared or automatic) scooter that is not taxed and/or MOT'd and can be identified by one or more of the following:
1. Cut-down, modified or lengthened frame.
2. Has no suspension or suspension has been removed and replaced with straight bars or rods.
3. Has no battery.
4. No working brake light and horn.
5. Runs on Nitrous or has Nitrous fitted.
6. Runs on anything other than roadside pump petrol e.g. Avgas/Methanol.
7. All sprinters must have a scooter engine (not a motorcycle engine).
In addition to the above, if a bike has NOS (even the bike is road-legal) it will be entered into the Sprint Class.
For safety reasons, leather boots, gloves, jacket and a suitable helmet must be worn. Full leathers are highly recommended.
SUB-CLASSES
The above classes are broken down according to engine capacity, and geared and automatic scooters are split into separate classes as follows:

X-Race points system
The championship itself will involve a points system with two sets of points for both the eighth of a mile
and the quarter mile. Ten points will be awarded to whoever gets the quickest time (not speed) at each round,
nine points for second place and so on down to one point for coming tenth. No points will be awarded for eleventh place and below,
likewise if you miss a round you miss your points! Trophies (courtesy of PM Tuning Racing Products) will then be awarded to the winners with the most points for the eighth
of a mile and quarter mile in each class at the end of the final round.
