Calling all budding stunsters... After speaking to Trevor Duckworth (from Straightliners) last week with regards a proper stunt
competition as part of X-Race. Trevor says if there's anyone out there who's really good at stuntin' then they should
come to Elvington on October 12th to demonstrate their stuntin' talents. A space at Elvington will be set aside for you to
perform in front of the judges. If Trevor sees anyone who is particularly good then there is a chance that you may be
asked to perform in front of large crowds at big events such as the annual Streetfighters shows at Sheffield Arena, Manchester G-Mex
and so on... So if you think you can make the grade, then this could be your lucky break... In which case get yourself to
the Straightliners meet at Elvington, North Yorkshire on October 12th... This stunt contest will also decide the winner of this year's X-Race
Stuntin' Competition. So please make sure you're there to be in with a chance of winning.
Other news, a few of you have been waiting for some red ItaljetDragster.com vinyl cut stickers, I'm pleased to say these are now
available priced at £2.50 each. Also available are a very limited quantity of silver window stickers (which can be stuck inside
glass as opposed to outside). These are also £2.50 each. For a full list of ItaljetDragster.com merchandise, take a look
here.

A big thanks once again to everyone who attended Round 6 of the X-Race UK Championship at Elvington on Sunday. The results
will be on-line at the official X-Race UK website soon. A few people
have suggested an X-Race / Italjet Dragster.com END OF YEAR BASH! So if anyone is interested in meeting up
for one or two beers and much merriment towards the end of the year then drop me a line
and I'll see if I can organise summat... Feel free to offer suggestions for venues...

Just a reminder that Round 6 of the X-Race UK Championship will take place at Elvington in North Yorkshire this weekend on
14th September. If you went to the Santa Pod Hijack and fancy doing some more sprinting then get yourself to Elvington.
If you've not entered an X-Race round before you don't have to pre-register or anything, just turn up on the day and pay
the cost of entry. Even if you can't or don't want to race, why not come along and spectate? For more info,
check out the official X-Race UK website.

Saturday 6th September and the third Northern Scooter Club meeting took place. The rendezvous point was once again the Cat & Fiddle
pub in Derbyshire. The turnout was good considering the previous meeting was only a few weeks before and the weather was very poor to say
the least. I think a good time was had by all and I'm sure that these meetings will only get bigger but perhaps next year now given that
Autumn weather is here. I've almost completed the write-up on the meet for Twist & Go, but it would help me a bit if those
of you who went and I didn't get the chance to speak to could send me a quick email stating your name and what scoot you were riding. This
way you can be sure that you'll get a mention in the mag. Thanks to everyone who went and congrats to Lee Ellis from Barnsley and Chris Paisley from
sc-ooter.com for organising these meetings in the first place.

Small bit of news on the current situation with Italjet in the UK, I'm told that in light of the recent business problems
regarding Italjet in Italy etc. and problems here in the UK. Italjet (UK) are still working on a normal basis with regards warranty claims and parts etc.
According to Scott Hinchcliffe at Italjet Performance Scooters (UK) the situation in Italy has not advanced as far as we know, the rumours about
Ducati taking over are just that. Other than that no further news as yet.
