More message board woes... Yes, I'm fully aware of the problems with posts on the message board at the moment and believe that the

As many of you will have observed the site has gone pear-shaped again, consequently the site (apart from this page) is a snapshot
of over two weeks ago (03/07/03). This is all down to my my ISP Freezone, I have contacted them about the problems which
I am clearly not happy about to say the least so please bear with us until the problems are fixed and hopefully I can sort out something
more stable for the future.

NORTHERN SCOOTER MEET
For those of you wanting to meet up with like-minded Dragster owners and automatic scooterists in the North, a regular
monthly meet has already begun and the meeting place is The Cat & Fiddle, Buxton in Derbyshire - the second highest pub in Britain.
The Cat & Fiddle is a popular biker meeting place and on a good day there can be hundreds there. The first
Northern scooter meeting took place on Saturday 19th July and around ten scooterists turned up but the
next meet promises to be a lot bigger given enough time to promote and advertise the meeting. So, spread the word and get your mates
to come along... The time and date for the next meet is 12 noon Saturday 23rd August. See you there!

Some news on latest offerings from Chiselspeed in Leeds.
As some of you probably already know, Chiselspeed now do dyno testing and the cost for this service is £45 per hour plus VAT.
I recently had my Drag dyno'd at Chiselspeed and the end result: 24 bhp (21.5 bhp before dyno testing) so I can tell you it's well
worth getting your scoot on the dyno in order to fine tune your set-up or to look at where you can improve it.
The new Chiselspeed shockers seem to be going well by all accounts, I've got one of their front shocks fitted to my scoot and it
seems much better than the default Paioli shock (which I might add lasted me a few years). I'm now gonna get a rear shock
from Chiselspeed to match. Chiselspeed have recently stocked up on these shockers so there will be no supply problems I'm told,
the shockers are available in most colours to order including chrome from stock (£10 per shock extra), all standard flat colours are
available at no extra cost, metallics and candy colours are £5 per shock extra. A picture of the front shock (unpainted) can be found
here and the rear shocker (also unpainted) here.
Chiselspeed now offer 190cc conversions for 180 or 172 kitted Dragsters (or anything else fitted with
the same Piaggio engine (e.g. 172 kitted Aprilia SR125's, Runners etc.), price is £250 inc. VAT. Coming shortly from Chiselspeed
- 200cc conversions... Price to be finalised but expected to be in the region of £850 (new crank required etc.)
And finally, a few other goodies from Chiselspeed include small chrome mirrors to fit the Dragster and/or Formula,
also available are some small Formula 1 type carbon-effect mirrors for both the Dragster and the Formula. The price for both types of
these mirrors is £22.95 pair. Last but not least, any parts ordered from Chiselspeed will attract 10% discount if you mention that
you are a member of ItaljetDragster.com. However this does not apply to pairs of Dragster shocks as they are already
discounted by 25% (if you buy them both at once) but Chiselspeed will offer these carriage free (saving you £8.65).
You can contact Chiselspeed on 0113 281 1052 or send Martin Cook an email
with any questions or queries.

are larger and there's more pics to look at, anyway enjoy...
Been a bit busy this week finishing articles for the next issue of Twist & Go in which you will find a full
report on The London Run, X-Race Rounds 1 to 4 among other things. Thanks to everyone who came to the first four rounds
of the X-Race Championship and I've compiled a leaderboard of the quickest times so far for the quarter mile (I've entered all automatics
and all classes into this leaderboard for comparison). So for those of you who are coming to the Santa Pod Hijack next month, you now
have something to compare your times to. You can find the leaderboard
here.

UPDATE:
Dragster Gallery Collection 29 is now available for your pleasure. Those London Run
pics to follow (taking some scanning in though I can tell ya, there's loads of 'em)!
You may have already heard on the Message Board that
MJ Designs have come up with some cool replacement Runner and Dragster dials.
They're completely customisable so you can choose whatever colour dial
face you want, any colour lighting and any lettering/wording on the front. The cost for a one-off hand-made Runner dial to your
specification is £50.00. BUT, as an opening offer to members of ItaljetDragster.com you are entitled to a £10 discount.
So that's £40 for your own one-off custom Runner dial. Dragster Dials normally cost £40 but if you state that you're an ItaljetDragster.com
member too you can get one for £30.
For pictures take a look here.
