19/12/06 : Apologies for the lack of news updates folks. As always, things have been a bit busy...
Well, Christmas will be here before we know it and 2007 is just around the corner. For me, 2006 has been
a hectic year since the launch of PETROL back in June at the Ace Cafe. Months of hard work have followed but the satisfaction comes from knowing that the mag has succeeded in establishing itself and has started to
become a recognised name in the scooter scene and the scooter industry. This here website has been a part of the magazine's establishment and I thank the loyal members of the forum for their continued support and
encouragement.
As seen at the recent bike shows at Koln and Milan, Italjet are once again back on the scene and new Dragsters are once again on the cards. There's been a lot of talk about this on the forum, we've seen
pictures of old Dragsters on display at shows, an old Dragster with a 250 engine grafted in, talk of four stroke engines, drawings of a 'Naked' Dragster concept but
nothing entirely new. And that's what us Dragster fans are waiting for. Will we see it in 2007? Well, already there have been rumours of a UK importer, a well known tuning company, but I cannot say anything
more than that until an official announcement is made. There's been discussion about Dragsters being produced in India (Kinetic) along with news of an Italjet/Kinetic alliance on various other websites including
Kinetic's own. Italjet, however, haven't yet announced anything official to us as yet at ItaljetDragster.com. But let's see what 2007 brings...
